Shatoria was educated in Nashville Metro Davidson County Schools. She received the Lord as her Savior at an early age. Shatoria, better known as Shay and by others as Toy, she moved from Nashville to Huntsville, Alabama in 2016. Shatoria entered into Holy Matrimony with DeAndre Champagne, her loving husband in February 2020.
She was a devoted and loving daughter, granddaughter, mother, niece, cousin, friend, and wife. Shatoria was a very kind-hearted and loving person, she did many countless acts of kindness and never looked for anything in return. She was always looking out for her family. As she prospered in life, she made it her business to make sure she didn’t leave anyone behind. She was a virtuous woman and a woman of integrity.
Shatoria leaves to cherish her memory: Husband, DeAndre; Children, Aaliyah and Aiden; Mother, Tonia Tisdale; Brother, Garrick Tisdale; Mother-in-law, Kimberly Nichols; Father-in-law, John Nichols; Grandmother, Samella Hawkins; Godmother, Pamela Johnson; Godparents, Lewis and Joy Gray; Sister-in-laws, Alisha Nichols and Cieanna (Justin) Grawcock; brother-in-laws, Jonathan Nichols, Ian Nichols, and Brett Nichols; Aunts, Jacqueline (Charles) Brown and Eboni (Blake) Pollock; Uncles, Timothy (Phoebe) Hawkins and Cedric Hawkins; Great Uncles, Mark Carter and Matthew Carter; a great host of cousins, friends and devoted friend, Shirlandra Pugh.
The Family gratefully acknowledges with sincere appreciation your prayers and all the expressions of love and kindness shown during our time of sorrow. Special thanks to Bishop George Adebanjo and the Living Word International Church Family. Thank you Pastors Alvin and Victoria Parker and the True Word Christian Center Family. May God bless and continue to keep each of you.
