Bob’s life changed forever on May 4, 2021, when he suffered a devastating spinal cord injury.  Despite Bob and his family’s best efforts and desires his health gradually declined.  His family and caregivers worked tirelessly to care, provide and comfort him during this difficult time. He is also survived by his mother Marian Koetting, Cris Derrington, Cheryl Derrington, Mike Derrington (Kim), Jeff Derrington (Diana) and Beth Russo (Scott).

Bob’s passions were tennis, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, his Maryland Farms YMCA tennis buddies, gardening, his loving dog Tucker and especially his family.  Bob was known for his big smile, his keen sense of humor and unending generosity.  While he left this life far too soon, his impact of those who knew and enjoyed his company will be felt for eternity.
