Danyelle Kay Keahey

Danyelle Kay Keahey passed away June 25th,2023.  As Danyelle lived a vivacious life, her passing came as a shock to her many friends and loved ones.  

Danyelle was born in Texas City Texas on Jan 7th, 1961 to Theresa Kay Featherston and Michael Keahey.   Danyelle lived most of her life in Knoxville and Nashville TN.

Danyelle enjoyed a very successful career as a Lender and ultimately as an entrepreneur in Real Estate.

It was easy for Danyelle to develop lasting and deep friendships.   She was known for her extra positive attitude, corny jokes and hilarious personality.  

Her passions were also well-known.   She loved her dogs Snuffy, Lucy and Hopper, her parents, the Tennessee Titans, The Nashville Symphony, a really Good Pizza and her many friends.   She also loved being married for 10 wonderful years to Greg Miles and in true Danyelle-spirit, remained good friends throughout her life.   She also loved Halloween, Van Morrison, Quoting Alice in Wonderland, a good glass of red wine and her Calhoun’s Family, many of whom stayed in touch with for close to 40 years.    Her only dislikes were Aaron Rodgers and Florence Henderson.

Danyelle is survived by Brother, Todd Keahey; Great Aunts, Judy Abraham and husband George; Dorotha Bessire and husband Kennard. Close cousins: Jennifer Abraham Jones and her husband, Kris Jones and son Avery Jones. Kristen Abraham Fields and her husband Jay Fields and sons Kyle Fields and Carter Fields and many more cousins as well as her beloved dog, Hopper.   Danyelle was preceded in death by her Mother, Teresa Kay Featherston, Grandfather, Claude Featherston and Grand Mother, Earnestine Featherston and her father, Michael Keahey.

A private gathering of friends will be held in Nashville on Labor Day Weekend.

A public tribute to Danyelle’s life will be held in Edwin Warner Park in Nashville on Sunday, October 15th at 1pm at Picnic Shelter # 7.
