Born in Jersey City, NJ, Claire was a single mother who frequently worked two jobs. In her early career she was a secretary and then became a paralegal for a large brokerage firm on Wall Street in New York City. She was one of the first women in the state of New Jersey to obtain a home mortgage on her own – unheard of in the late 1960s. A strong independent woman driven to get ahead, she entered college in her 60s, attained her Bachelor’s Degree and continued on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy. She worked as a therapist for more than 25 years.

Claire had a strong faith in Almighty God and prayed for her family and friends continually. She had the warmest smile and the biggest heart. She will be greatly missed and will live on in the hearts of her family and friends and all of those who she helped.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (https://fundraise.givesmart.com/vf/PFFTribute)
