Barbara Joan Martorello

Barbara Martorello passed away March 2,2022. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Lance. Barbara was a life-long animal lover, master artist, knitter and world travel, always exploring new cultural cuisines.  Anyone who knew her saw how she would light up a room or help anyone in need.  She was a single mom who instilled a strong sense of women’s pride and independence in me, and it has aways made a difference in my life. Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, she moved here to Tennessee 5 years ago and immediately started auditing art classes at Volunteer State Community College, who have purchased several of her original pieces of art for their permanent display. She was a shining light and gave that light to others. She will be greatly missed and always loved.
