Ashley Trapp Currey

Ashley Trapp Currey passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2023. She was the daughter of Jean and the late George W. Trapp. Ashley grew up in Charlotte, NC and graduated from East Mecklenburg High School. She then went on to attend St. Mary's College and N.C. State in Raleigh, NC. Following college, she relocated to New York City where she enjoyed an extensive and successful career in the fashion industry.

After leaving New York, Ashley married Christian Brownlee Currey and settled in Franklin, TN where she raised her family. She will be forever remembered for her dazzling smile, kind heart, and infectious humor.

Ashley is survived by her mother, Jean Kane Allen; her children Charlotte and Owen Currey; her sisters Susan Trapp Bruckel (John) and Jeanie Trapp Blanchard (Bob) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private family service will be held at River Circle Farm in Franklin, TN on March 11, 2023.
