Arthur H Gasset

On Friday, April 26, 2024, Arthur H Gasset, loving son and father of three children, passed away suddenly at age 66.

Arthur was born on October 21, 1957 in Havana, Cuba to Nestor and Georgina Gasset. He was a brother, son, father, cousin, and a friend to many.  After leaving Cuba in 1961, his parents and brother (Nestor Gasset) settled in Anderson, Indiana. He graduated from Anderson High School in 1973. In 1984, Arthur met the mother of his children (Kathy Gasset-Bond) who gave birth to his three beautiful children: Rory, Micheal, and daughter Kathleen.

Arthur loved teaching his children all about sports. The late 80’s, Art had a career ending knee injury playing Minor League Baseball. Arthur enjoyed talking about his family and children’s accomplishments often. Arthur loved traveling the world to see friends, he was no stranger to anyone he met. “Cuba” was known for his bandanas; he was unrecognizable without one. He had a passion for golf, playing with his children and friends is what he enjoyed most. He was known for his quick wit, loving, and humorous personality.  

Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Nestor, and his mother, Georgina and brother, Nestor. He is survived by his three children, Rory, Michael, and Kathleen, several cousins, and many dearest friends. A celebration of his life will be held in West Palm Beach, Florida. Expect to have dates soon for July/August 2024.
